With Christmas just around the corner I thought a few Christmas blogs would be in order !

Rhipsalis burchellii is a epiphytic spineless cactus that forms an elegant cascade of delicate branches. Slender, cylindrical, branched, and highly succulent.
The flowers are cream-colored, up to 1.5 cm long, and emerge along the stems, eventually making way for pink fruits.
Origin
Rhipsalis burchellii is native to Brazil. It grows as an epiphyte in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest at elevations of up to 2,950 feet (900 m)!
It does fine in average home humidity but will thrive in slightly more humid environments like the kitchen or bathroom, or with the occasional misting.
You can pinch out older brown leaves regularly to keep the plant looking tidy.
House plant - Succulent
